Abstract Madison Grant (1865-1937) was President of the New York Zoological Society from 1925 until his death in 1937. W. Redmond Cross (1874-1940) succeeded Grant in 1937 and served as President until his retirement in 1940. The bulk of this collection reflects the activities of Grant and Cross during their respective tenures as President.
