Scope and Contents
Series three includes production files, film and narrative scripts, correspondence, memoranda, requisition forms, and notes relating to the provision of audio-visual services for various NYZS functions and activities. Records in this series document annual meetings and other events, motion picture film and television series productions, and audio-visual support for exhibits and tours at the Bronx Zoo. The series also includes records relating to the routine administration, management and delivery of these services, including department correspondence, publication requests and film footage sales, and staff and resource management.

Access Restrictions
Please contact the WCS Archives regarding possible usage restrictions. In particular, series 1 and 2 contain items in poor physical condition (e.g. slightly brittle or crumbling pages or documents on degraded thermofax paper). Extra care and handling needs to be exercised with the originals and with duplicates where duplicates are the only surviving copy.
