Scope and Contents
Travelogue set in Bimini, Bahamas, featuring staff from the New York Zoological Society and the American Museum of Natural History. "The film opens with travelogue material before moving to the newly-opened Lerner Marine Laboratory. Shown are views of the Laboratory's grounds, the Lerners' yacht (the Playmate), and Helen Lerner fishing from a skiff. At the Laboratory, Lerner, AMNH paleontologist William King Gregory, and Ross Nigrelli of the New York Zoological Society, discuss various species of fish. Most of the footage in this film is devoted to the fish and other marine animals in the various collection tanks"--Worldcat.
