"Crandall packing. Leg of Aboriginal. Shots of birds, one colored. Indigenous people bringing members of expedition specimens. Cloud covering mountains. Indigenous people smoking same pipe as in Reel #237. Indigenous people sitting around, old man showing off his long hair. Indigenous people holding four long, painted instruments that look like painted chopsticks, using bow and arrows and setting traps. Bird. Expedition moves on. Mountains again. Village--thatched huts. Village gallants lining up to have their pictures taken. Bringing in pig and bundles tied to sticks by feet. Parts of this reel are badly faded and others torn"--Original can label.
