Scope and Contents
Film is incomplete and does not include ending credits. "Photographed by S. C. Dunton. The Aquarium's well boat Seahorse, which collects most of the local marine specimens. ...And year after year the Aquarium continues to be one of New York City's most popular public institutions. A friendly pup comes to inspect the hand, a piece of driftwood. A trip to Sandy Hook goes underway. Tanks and various equipment are brought down to the little vessel. Sea robins, blackfish and other local varieties. A school of runners following a sturgeon. A small Jack is placed in the tank with some East Indian Scatophagus and scrapes an acquaintance with a Key West Cowfish. Among the more interesting exhibits obtained from Sandy Hook are the rays"--Film credits.
