Scope and Contents
The bulk of this series consists of news clippings related to Fairfield Osborn’s activities between 1949 and 1968. (See the Correspondence series for additional “Publicity” files, which concern both the Society generally and Osborn specifically.) Also included in this series are awards and honorary degrees received by Osborn as well as a guest registrar book for a reception given in his honor at the National Geographic Society in 1965.
