Shot on DTR's forty-ninth expedition, this reel includes footage of William Beebe touring the grounds at the new Department of Tropical Research lab Simla in Trinidad, and of Jocelyn Crane working in "the Flutter Inn," a "large insectary for housing and breeding butterflies and other insects under study"--1951 NYZS Annual report, p49.
