Scope and Contents

Rare footage of the Department of Tropical Research in Bermuda and Barbados. Reel opens with Gloria Hollister inside of a lab preparing fish specimens and shows her out on location with her dog Trumps. Standing in open water, Hollister holds Trumps up to water glass in order to view content of water below the surface. Flying fish fishing at Bathsheba in Barbados viewed from boats wherein crews are shown using hook-and-line and nets to catch fish. Deep hulled sailboats seen on water from shore. Crews heave boats up the beach. Aside from flying fish, other caught fish appear to be a swordfish and a shark.
