Scope and Contents
This series includes short, edited films created for screening during New York Zoological Society/Wildlife Conservation Society Annual Meetings for members and focusing on the organization’s highlights from the previous year. The majority date from 1953-1977, with one film from 1996. Most of these films were not created with a soundtrack as they were intended to be screened accompanied by a live narrator, usually an NYZS staff member. The films were shot, written, and edited by NYZS Publications and Education staff. Scripts for some of these films can be found in WCS Archives Collection 2008 (Department of Education. Audio-Visual Office records).
